This 1948 ford F-5 COE cab over truck is very straight and clean. No rust, clean Arizona title. Tires are excellent, motor runs great, brakes work great. Trans and clutch works great. Outside red paint has great patina, I was going to leave as is. Inside black paint and red carpet is in great shape so are the original seat upholstery. Rare original cab clearance lights. This truck is incredibly straight and original. Original drivetrain. Extra flathead 6 and trans included. Needs headliner and brake lights ( wiring all there) drivers door glass cracked. Drive as is or restore. Originally owned by Fire Dept and stored inside. Gets far more attention than my dodge viper ever did. The truck was originally owned by the fire dept and they had the engine rebuilt right before I bought it. The carb was just rebuilt about a month ago and it could use some adjustments also a new fuel pump and I just replaced the pinion seal. This truck does not leak a drop. I drive it in my neighborhood for fun but there is no way this truck will run freeway speeds (geared to low). I have had the truck well over 10 years but not driven much. The headlight switch needs cleaned up, they work when they want to. Had them fixed before and they worked great for a while, the mech said the switch was going bad . I added a couple of new pictures.
