Vehicle Detail
In a small garage, in the central valley, under blanket, toys, everything but the kitchen sink, she sat. The 1954 Studebaker Commander 2 door Conestoga wagon. RARE AS FROG FIR!!! Studebaker made this wagon for 2 years only, and not very many of them. A friend of mine is offering this wagon on a NO RESERVE auction. This little wagon is perfect for the car guy's who look for things no one else has, and most have never seen, myself included!! ( it is a first for me ). It is in great shape for the year, and time stored. The car still has the rubber matt on the floor boards ( see pics. ), original hub caps, the original color, ( not sure if it was ever re painted? ) original color interior, and more. I have included a picture of the 1954 advertisment Studebaker ran. There is some rust on the lower quarters, a dent on the front fender ( see pics ). The v8 motor looks like a mopar motor, they say it will run, but not sure, it has disc brakes in front, and tilt steering. Certainly not stock for the car. If you have any questions you can email or call 1-559-906-2295. We require a 1000.00 deposit at close of auction, and the balance in 7 day's. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. On Mar-11-13 at 13:06:21 PDT, seller added the following information: We have added pics. of the motor, disc brake set up, front fender vents as requested. I had someone come out to tell me about the motor, disc brakes, and tilt wheel. He say's the motor is an early 70's 318 probably out of a duster because the disc brakes look to be 70's Plymouth out of a Duster, the frame is Studebaker with the Plymouth clip, ( see pics ) the tilt column is probably duster as well Thank you for all your questions, and interest. good luck!
