For sale is my 1998 R1100RT Sport Touring motorcycle. I bought the bike in March, 2009, with 40k miles, and I have added another 5k. Overall it is in great condition. It's very clean, well maintained, and everything works. I've always kept it garaged The good:The battery was new a year ago, and I've kept it on a Battery Tender any time it isn't in use. The Battery Tender is includedThe front tire is brand new (less than 1k miles)The windscreen is very clean and scratch-free for a 15-year-old bike, and the motor works fineIt has all hard bags (two panniers and a topcase), all keyed to the same key as the ignition.It has a set of very bright aftermarket running lights added.It has a K&N air filterI replaced the low-profile seat that came with it with a stock seat. Both seats are included in the auction.I removed an aftermarket passenger backrest in order to fit the topcase. The backrest is included in the auction.The not-so-goodThe rear tire still has plenty of tread, but is a little squared-off, and should probably replaced before too much longer.There are scuffs and scratches on both valve covers, both mirrors, and both panniers. Nothing major (not serious road rash), but certainly noticeable.The low-profile seat has a small (1/2") tear along one edge.It's been a great bike, but I'm moving and there isn't any room to bring it with me, so it has to go.
