1978 25th Anniversary Blue Chevrolet Corvette, The mileage is not actual. This is a highly Modified Corvette, it has a 78' Indy Pace Car front & rear spoiler. The engine has a lot of Chrome including intake Manifold, Valve Covers, Timing chain cover, Alternator, Water Pump, and Master Cylinder etc, to much to list. Engine has been rebuilt by myself about 5000 miles ago. I replaced the Bearings, and Rings. The engine was rebuilt by previous owner and he has made the engine high performance, including Cam, Holley Carburator, Oversized Pistons. The engine also is gear driven, since that was all done, all I did besides the Rings and bearings was I added Aluminum Heads. We have owned the car over 11 years and we recently purchased a Mercedes SUV and need the garage space. In California and other States where smog is required the car can only be sold as off road only, In some states if the car is registered as a collector car you do not need to smog it. Mechanically the engine, transmission, and rear end are in excellent condition, I believe the suspension needs to be re-aligned reason being, the car was aligned for auto cross so when regular driving the handling is not as good, but the car can easily be realigned for regular driving. The body is excellent no dents or dings, it does have 3 areas where we had to touch up a penney size scratch in the paint, other than that the paint is in good condition. The driver side window has a dime size chip in it. My wife and I have showed the car several times in Corvette shows and usually either came in 1st or 2nd place, I have also used the car a few times in Auto Cross and it handles excellently. The car runs excellent, does not smoke, or burn oil. The car definitely turns heads when driven, it has a V-8 rumble the way a high performance Vette should sound and with the added Indy pace car spoilers it looks and sounds awesome. The car has always been garaged since we have owned it which is now part of the problem, because I am parking my recently purchased SUV outside and living in the Desert I am afraid of ruining the paint on my SUV. The interior is in good condition, the seats are perfect, the only problem in the interior is the carpet is showing its a age and on the drivers side there is a 4" tear in the carpet (see picture). The electric windows both work however the passenger window rolls up slowly and the headlights go up and down but this also works slow.
