NEEDS ENGINE WORK (rod knock - details follow)  Clean, loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.  Features, automatic transmission, on-demand Quadra-Trac II 4-wheel drive system, A/C, fog lights, leather seating (no rips), heated seats, dual power seats, PW, PL, PM, keyless entry w/ 2 remotes, cruise control, power moonroof, and Infinity sound - AM/FM cassette, CD, and CD changer.  Second owner since 68k miles.  Body has minor scratches and dings for its age, but no rust or large dents.  Transmission and brakes are fine.  Tires have approx. 50% tread.  Jeep also has the 2" class III hitch with 6 pin connector.  Interior also has general wear and tear, but no stains, rips, or damage.  Cargo area has cargo net and security shade / cover.  Rear seats fold down flat for additional cargo space.  All features, accessories, and systems have been maintained and are functioning properly.  The 4.7-liter V8 engine however, is in need of REPAIR - REBUILD OR REPLACEMENT.  Upon start-up and during acceleration / load, there is a rod knock.  This is unfortunate, as this Jeep has otherwise proven reliable, capable, and fun to drive.  The check engine light is also on, but the codes relate to a leak in the EGR/emissions system.  Because of these conditions, this Jeep is sold "as-is", without warranty - all sales final.  The Jeep does however, start, run, and drive.  Winning buyer should be able to drive this vehicle home within a reasonable distance.  A $200 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close.  Balance of payment due at pickup in the form of cash or a certified bank check that can be cashed at a local bank prior to release of vehicle.  Shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the winning buyer, however I am willing to assist in the coordination.  Shipping quotes can be obtained from uship (dot com).  Vehicle is located in GLEN ELLYN, IL  60137  More detailed pictures here:
