Up for world wide no reserve auction is this rare 1974 GMC 1500 Cheyenne short bed. This truck runs and drives great! The 350-V8 runs very nice. The automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and were both put in two years ago at the same time professionally. While that was being done they took the cab and bed off and repainted the truck the gorgeous mirror midnight black that you see now! This truck is not all original like most the cars and trucks I normally sell. I just could not pass up because of how beautiful she is. If you are looking for a restore project this is not the truck for you because someone else has already done it. Tons of money has been spent maintaining and updating this short bed GMC. I have gone over this truck with a fine tooth comb and have fallen in love. (SEE PICS) It is rust free in all areas of the whole truck with the one exception of the oh so common battery tray. There is one spot where the paint is chipped by the passenger side cab next to door. The dash has 2 small cracks in it. The bed has some scratches in it but no dents. It took a lot of will power not to give this truck a bed liner but I wanted to show you how nice the bed is. I get good deals on them so if the buyer wants I can get it done for $300 professionally. The only dent on the whole truck is on the hood drivers side. I would call this truck 8.5 out of 10. Whoever wins will be very happy. I give very good descriptions and am very easy to deal with. It has ; rear slider, Cd player, nice speakers, chrome is prefect all around, with very nice bumpers. The tires are Indianapolis 500 Speedway motor fire-stones that look great. (they have the white lettering on the other side) with a full spare underneath the truck. The dual exhaust sounds so cool going down the road and people pretty much stop in their tracks to gawk at you driving by! of course the thumbs up and nice truck follow it.
