1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL V6 Dark Knight Hatchback 3.0L V-6 Automatic with O/D 183,149 miles VIN: JA3AM54J8SY003496 THE GOOD: New water pump New timing belt New serpentine belt New window motors New fan relay New thermostat New motor fan New plug wires and harness Clear Title Great stereo and speaker system A/C , and all Power options working great Power / Economy switch for boost of power THE BAD: Needs a new head gasket – no compression it will need to be towed THE UGLY: Leather seats are cracking/torn as noted in the photos due to wear & tear There are several dents around the vehicle (5 that are noticeable to the naked eye) The vehicle will need a paint job. The previous owner had a cheap $300 Maaco special on it and it’s beginning to chip. THE STORY: Our son wanted a 3000GT. He purchased it in September, 2012 and it wasn’t perfect, but he had the funds to fix it up and it was a great toy to drive around as a secondary car for him. He ended up putting just under $2k into the vehicle and then the vehicle loss compression about a week ago, so we towed it over to our mechanic who broke the news and showed us that the vehicle had water in the valves. It was a blown head gasket. We realize that we are about to take a loss at this point, but what other option do we have aside from over-hauling the engine and replacing the head gasket ourselves? So, with our heads hung in defeat, we are selling the vehicle AS-IS. Ready to Bid? If you’re ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way. 3.2. Pay a Deposit. You must also pay a non-refundable $200.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle. 3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due within 7 days after the end of the auction. 3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars. 3.5. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me. I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, (iii) provide me with required signatures/documents, or (iv) pay the remaining balance within the time frames set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, in my sole discretion.
