1982 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL GOLDENROD CRYSTAL COAT - 42K MI - NO RESERVE! We are extremely proud to offer for your kind consideration a gorgeous original 1982 Imperial finished in Goldenrod Crystal Coat and featuring a sumptuous chocolate Kimberley Velvet cloth interior with 60/40 split bench. Factory equipment includes power windows, Electronic VFD dash (including odometer, speedometer, gear selection, gasoline-use calculator, and clock), electronic door locks, dual power mirrors, air conditioning, electric adjustable seats (6-way driver - 4-way passenger), dual illuminated vanity mirrors, and automatic speed control. Performance is exemplary: quiet, powerful and smooth. Perhaps the most important aspect of this car is that it has been converted by Chrysler from the original EFI, which was problematical, to a retrofit factory carburetor conversion which consisted of a $3,500 kit plus 50 technician hours, per car, provided under warranty by Lee Iacocca! Finally, the only choices to be made when ordering this model were if to have locking wheel covers which simulate wire wheels in lieu of styled wheels and/or plush Kimberley Velvet cloth upholstery as opposed to leather - this beauty has both! The center arm rest is hallmarked in the fabric "Mark Cross" but I don't think this is a Mark Cross edition. Could be, but from what I have gleaned from online sources, that single designation may be somewhat universal. The carpeting is super plush, goes up into the lower portion of door panels, and is in pristine shape. Even the original floor mats are still excellent! Air conditioning and heating work properly as do seat functions. Tilt and cruise are also fully functional. Body is laser straight and ding free - paintwork is glossy and has no clear coat issues or hairline cracks. It looks as new as you can imagine! Has Cartier crystal hood ornament which was replaced with a plastic version in final year of production 1983! Auction is NO RESERVE with a modest starting bid for fraction of value and a realistic Buy It Now opportunity as well.
