2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES 4dr sport sedan NO RESERVE I have owned this car for almost 6 years, and it has not given me one ounce of trouble until last week. I started to hear a lifter noise at the top of the motor, so I headed over our local mechanic. Half way there, on the highway, the car just shut off and would not restart. He said there is a safety switch that will do that when the oil pressure drops. He also said the oil pump could have quit. Either way, someone is going to have to dig into the problem to fix it, and I can't be without a vehicle that long. So, here we are. It will sell to the highest bidder for repair, parts, or whatever you wish to do with it! Front wheel drive, great in snow, It's one of the most fuel efficient mid size sedan 4 cylinder Automatic's I have ever driven, and very comfortable too.Clean, Clear title in hand. All power options work, has hot heat, cold AC, nice CD stereo, many new parts over the years. One wheel cover missing, power part of moon roof does not work, two spots of minor surface rust, but frame and doors are fine. No accident history, no body damage.
