Vehicle Detail
0 0 1 289 1649 Crib Use 13 3 1935 14.0 96 800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This PHS documented 1977 Special Edition “Smokey and the Bandit” Trans Am has only 77,000 miles, and has never seen a winter, only being driven on weekends, and to car shows! NOT A CLONE, this is the real deal. Only 3,760 of the Y82 W72 automatics were ever produced. This car has all the correct gold appointments inside and out, Special Edition striping, deluxe interior, and the Hurst Hatch T-Tops. Rock solid body, straight as an arrow, new exhaust w/Hooker super-comp headers and refurbished snowflake rims. Options include: Power windows, tilt, deluxe interior, A/C (parts all there just not hooked up or charges) and rear defrost. Even though it has always been a Midwest car, it has no rust. You cannot take this car anywhere without turning heads and starting conversations! Has a rebuilt 400 from another Trans am in it now that has been modified (heads, cam, etc) before I got it, but I will include the original numbers matching block with the sale. Engine runs strong and has been very dependable. It does burn a little oil and could probably use new valve guide seals? Also has a small puncture hole in the trunk pan from hauling the engine block to my house. Radio is missing because it was a “radio delete” vehicle, but I do have the correct radio for the car, and will include it with the sale. Also included will be all the documentation and brochures I have for the car, seat springs, trunk release, a/c wiring harness (rest of the AC parts are there), extra gauges, and many other assorted parts. Really hate to sell the car, just finding no time to work on it, and want it to go to a good home with someone who can drive it more and appreciate it for what it is. Has already won shows, as is, and with a little love and a few more details, could be something really “special”. If you know anything about REAL Y82 Trans Ams, then you know how hard it is to find one that is not either a complete basket case, or a $60,000 trailer queen. Please check the pictures carefully and email me with any questions before bidding. I do have tons of pictures as well as the PHS. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, remainder within 7 days. Car cannot be picked up until payment has cleared. Buyer responsible for arranging pick up if not local.
