Vehicle Detail

Added 2/10/13: Liquidating british sports cars, parts, etc We are selling our entire inventory of AH Sprite parts, manuals, spares and memoribilia etc including the two vehicles pictured. We are relocating and do not want to move all of these items. The 1962 AH Sprite MKII project car is described below and is pictured. The 1967 AH Sprite MKIII is pictured. Its 100% complete and 90% assembled including brand new custom red convertible top and matching red /black piping seats made in the UK. Both vehicles titled in Michigan. The '67 runs. It needs carb tuning and there is water pump bearing noise and the turn signal switch does not operate, but the hydraulics have been redone, brand new wheels and tires, new distributor, electronic ignition etc. Painted in a hot rod (matte) black paint. No frame or floor rust. In addition to both vehicles, there are many new spare parts and used/surplus parts. Original service manuals, some memorabilia, etc gathered over 20+ years. At this time we are not piecing out individual parts; if the entire bundle does not sell at once, we will sell individual vehicles and parts later. Loading and transportation responsibility of the buyer; certified funds required at time of pickup and title transfer. Added 11/11: Details on the '62 Mk II: - Body media blasted, not dipped. Both rear quarter panels weld-repaired with metal replacement panels, and stripped frame shot with zinc chromate primer. - No rust on floors, small rust repairs done (in metal) on driver's side outer rocker and front of hood. Passenger-side inner front fender hammered out by shop, but is roughest existing part of car. - All parts individually bagged and boxed for easy reference. This is a UNIQUE early Sprite MKII project, ready for a new owner to finish, paint, assemble and show. Body: Complete disassembly. Professionally media blasted and primed. Motor: 948cc 9CG motor full rebuilt. Acme Speed Shop ported and polished head. ARP hardware. All new pumps, distributor etc. Engine specced for Judson supercharger installation. Supercharger: Folchi-rebuilt Judson supercharger . Full kit including oiler; never run or installed. See picture Parts: 100% disassembled. All parts individually bagged. Cleaned, stripped, and inventoried. Many new parts purchased. Includes rare items like side curtain frames, all chrome and other hardware, steering wheel, etc. Many parts redi-stripped and primed. Many extra parts included- 1-1/2" SU carb set, etc. Also includes original BMC Workshop Manual and Service Parts List . All documentation included for inventory of existing parts, new parts, shop work etc. Clear title, plus BMC Heritage certificate. Current owner bought in 1983. This is a very low VIN and is probably one of the earliest MkII in the US. A rare and unique opportunity to finish the project.
