Starting with the E.V. conversion mechanics of this vehicle. Alltrax SPM7200 controller. Albright 200 72 volt contactor. New D&D “ES-15-6” 72 -96 Volt DC Motor. . All new wiring with safety in line 400 amp fuse, shunt and potentiometer all professionally installed. Six 12 volt “agm” sealed 120 amp batteries which are fully sealed and less than 2 years old which have been properly trained for optimum distance and life span. QUI-Q Intelligent 72 volt quick charger & NEW 12 volt Chicago intelligent auxillary charger with 70 amp deep cycle 12 volt aux. batteries. NEW westburg high amp, timer and volt gauges along with 12 volt gauges.This is designed to go 50 miles per charge and top speeds of 45 mph. depending on terrain. Ideal for neighborhood commuting… Simple 110 volt connection and can be charged in as little as 4 hours with a regular 110 volt outlet. Now for the overall mechanics of this vehicle. NEW disc brakes, master cylinder, brake cylinders, tie rod ends, steering damper. Monroe overload shocks for a smoother ride and weight stability. Now for the Body… NEW paint by Buckners Painting service, New running boards, Halo rings, Latch locking rear deck and license plate lights. Tires have very little wear and will last a very long time! Last but not least the interior… Newly reupholstered seats, aux. toggle light switches. Auxillary 12 volt inputs and quick disconnect emergency kill switching assembly. Sony CDX F5710 Stereo system, Ooga horn. EVERYTHING in this vehicle works …Lights, turns, speedometer, interior lights. I have a notebook full of receipts, documentations and manuals that go with this car. This is one beautiful unique classic volkswagon. Some of the areas that are in fair condition are the weather stripping in a few areas. The dashboard has three small cracks and there are small imperfections that are hard to notice.
