VIN 501000 If you are interested in restoration of an Isetta 300 this is an excellant place to start. This car while needing a full restoration is very, very parts complete with all missing parts easy to obtain. Don't be fooled by buying a nice looking body with tons of missing parts, it is buying the parts after the fact that will financially send an Isetta restoration sky high. I will only have one more restoration 300 for sale but it will not be titled and certainly not numbers matching - Don't miss out on this one! This car is for someone who wants to do a restoration and yet have most of the parts. It includes the engine, transmission, chain case, rear axle, etc. Please note: This is a numbers matching car! Engine, frame, and VIN plate all carry the same number. The front steering housing is present but not bolted down tight to the floor. The car also includes the engine cover although not shown in the pictures. Notice the presence of the heater parts - these are rare. Battery box is completely shot (this is always the case!) Some rust through where the inner front wheel wells join the floor. This is also very common. Remainder of floor is fine. Two strips of 1-1/2 inch angle sheet metel 12 inches long will completely repair this. This car is exactly as I purchased it four years ago. I have not added nor removed anything. Turning the engine fan by hand shows that the engine is free and compression is present. That is the extent of what I know about the engine. Does not have front or rear glass. All side glass is in very good shape. While not pictured, seat is included. Mounting brackets on seat are very, very rusted but will rebuild with some very light gauge angle iron. Clear Wisconsin Title. The title matches the VIN number plate and the VIN number plate looks to have never been removed or changed (also rare). This car is for someone who wants to do a restoration and yet have most of the parts. It includes the engine, transmission, chain case, rear axle, etc.
