***Re-listed due to a misunderstanding of terms*** I'm happy to help make the transaction as easy as possible but if it's going overseas you're going to need an export broker. If you have any peculiar needs please discuss them with me before the auction ends. Thank you. This is the real deal; a Laughlin Chassis/Hendricks Lumina used in the movie Days of Thunder. According to Hendricks they only made 4 real qualifying stock cars for the movie that could be legally raced on the track during real races and this is one of them. The rest of the cars you've seen for sale were either promotional rollers, crash cars or blatant fakes. I've only ever seen one other real car for sale many, many years ago (it was missing the engine) and they wanted $250K for it. It'd probably be easier to find a Tucker for sale than a real Days of Thunder stock car. This particular car has qualified, raced and won at several tracks. It's lineage is traceable all the way back to 1990 when it was sold. It has had almost 100K worth of restoration/setup work completed at Laughlin (they're who built the chassis for Hendricks in the late 80's before Hendricks started building their own - and I have the receipts). It's set up for 'road race' which means it can turn left and right. It also has the fuel filler re-located on the correct side to race at Watkins Glen. It'd be great if it went to a museum but this is a complete, real, 100% intact stock car that you can take out and race. Once it's yours obviously you can do with it as you please. If you want to know what it sounds like watch the movie - it sounds exactly the same. If you're a fan of Tony Scott this is the ultimate collectible. There is a great deal of information to impart about this car and I could go on forever about the particulars. In order to keep this listing under 12 pages - if you're a legitimate buyer - I am happy to tell you everything about the car, it's history, how to verify it's authenticity and how to tell which scenes it's in in the movie via email or over the phone. The car is located in Los Angeles. If you have any questions please email me at; 51@daysofthunder.org The car comes with: The actual Days of Thunder crew jacket given to the president of the Daytona Motor Speedway in thanks for his participation. A Paramount Days of Thunder crew light jacket. A Cole Trickle #51 open-faced helmet with goggles. The web address "www.daysofthunder.org" All the paperwork. 15 gallons of C14+ race gas. The original Mello Yello vector files from Coca Cola in case you need to repair any decals. More reading: Days of Thunder is the greatest racing movie of all time. Tony Scott's Days of Thunder On Feb-12-13 at 04:39:21 PST, seller added the following information: ****I've been asked several times so if you're curious - yes, it's SVRA, HSR, HSRCG eligible and legal. It was raced extensively on the east coast - consistently finished top 10 at Road Atlanta, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America and the Atlanta Motor Speedway. ****
