1950 Ford Coupe for sale to the highest bidder! You will love this hot rod and if for some reason you can not come down and check it out in person please check out this on-line video where you can view the car, hear how she sounds, drives ect. at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovQF2f2gF-4&list=UU2S-OJbfHWTMwNqF333Izxg&index=1 Well, let me tell you a little bit about this one of a kind automoble The body is mated to a 1972 Ford Torino frame keeping the original Torino floor from firewall to trunk. 351C 2V, C-6, 9 inch, PB, PS, all in good mechanical condition. Has new American racing aluminum radiator w/ trans cooler. New Lokar shifter. New 12 volt wiper system. Interior re-done but no head liner yet. but the bows are there. New glass where needed. Dashboard reworked and chrome windshield frames installed. Satin black with red interior. 351 Cleveland Engine: bored .030 over. 8.5:1 compression. Isky hydraulic cam 260 duration- high torque. Melling High Volume oil Pump, Cloyes TRU Roller timing set. Mallory Hy-Fire ignition box. Pertronix Ignition trigger. Double pass, engine oil cooler w/ dedicated electric fan. 2V heads have been completely gone through properly: New: valves, guides, Comp cams Springs, Hardened exhaust seats for unleaded gas. Crane Roller Rockers, Guide Plates, chromoly pushrods. Edelbrock performer 2V aluminum manifold. Holley double pump with electronic fuel/air dash control. 1 3/4" pri tubular exhaust headers. Flowmaster mufflers with cross over extended out back. C-6 Trans: 4clutch high gear, all HD components, rebuilt 2 years ago, has firm shift kit {NOT CHIRP HARD TYPE SHIFT} Dearle deep sump pan with oil cooler tubes built in. Big Bearing, BRAZED HEAVY DUTY torque converter. .9" Rear End: Heavy Duty housing with set 20 HD tapered axle bearings, 3.70 Ford Motorsports gears (recently installed), Tom's 4 pinion POSI traclock custom built (fresh clutches) recently completely rebuilt with all new: Timkin bearings, seals, posi clutches. Front discs, rear drums. Now for the cons even though this is a daily driver it is still a project because you know it needs to be finished but you can drive it home or I can drive it to a shipper which usually costs only 200-400 bucks depending on distants Needs more body work, especially because the quarter panels were cut out to make room for the 9” rear end. But I have the new quarter panels to be put on after the rear end is narrowed. A new wiring harness someday might be good but works for now. Needs trunk lid latch, handel ect. A new steering column would be nice, headliner, tires, Narrow the rear end ect. Drives great with lots of power and handles smoothly. Vehicle has clear title, registered, insured for 15,000, pink in hand and ready to go. Email to arrange for local inspection.
