It was in the 1980 movie, Private Eyes that was filmed at the Biltmore Estate. I have a clip from the movie in DVD format. It was sold at the end of production, and passed through several hands and kept in dry storage. I purchased this car in Asheville a few years ago. Little by Little I was making it into a street rod. The car is very solid and virtually complete , including all glass Quite a bit of work has been done. A 350 Chevy engine has been installed with a 350 turbo. MBG front disc brakes were adapted. New steel firewall is in place. Parts included: 1. All hood and grill trim pieces, headlight rings re chromed by Advanced Plating...like new2. Mustang - 1966 radiator, installed in front blip3. Camry handbrake mechanism complete4. S-10 tilt steering column, complete with key5. MGB manual steering rack6. MGB front disc brakes7. Front lowering coil springs New parts included:1. Mustang disc brake master cylinder and power booster2. Austin taillight installation kit including chrome bezels and complete with lenses gaskets, etc.3. Custom drive shaft built for the drive line swap4. 12 volt horns5. 4 brl. air cleaner with custom Austin badge-pro comp6. Complete wiring panel system by Keep it Clean, new in box7. New Frenched license kit by Watson's Street Works8. 12-volt tri bar headlights with buckets and chrome rings9. B and M Z-Gate shifter in original box10.
