Vehicle Detail

This is a very nice 1991 Geo Metro Convertible. It is a five speed that gets about 42 MPG around town. I have never had it out on a trip, don't know about road milage. The car is in good mechinical condition. Everything works, and everything that came with the car is there, manual, and rear window protector when folding down top, all knobs and buttons. The hubcaps have been replaced There are no cracks in the dash or sun damag to the dash. The top is in good condition. The car runs and drives great. New brake pads (lifetime from autozone) Dec 012. The emergency brake works well and will hold on a steep hill. All the glass is in good condition. The car has a drivers airbag only. A new engine was installed at 92,300 miles. so this engin has about 46,000 miles. When the new engine was installed, a new cluth, flywheel, presure plate and clutch release bearing were also installed. I have the receipts, and warrenty certificate to document this work. For the bad. There is rome rust on both rockers (see pictures). The drivers seat has a tear on the edge from getting in and out. The check engine light flutters on and off. There is a tear and some dammage to the front valance on the drivers side (see pictures). This is a 22 year old car, and has some paint dings and scratches. The car is sold as is and where it is. I have nine auto's and have to downsize, that is the only reason I am selling this fun to drive convertible. I am the second owner of the car, and purchased it in July of 09, with 104362 miles. You are welcome to come look at and test drive this car,or have it checked out by a mechanic . One half of the key is in the ignition. The car still has to have the other half of the key to start or to stop the vehicle. The steering wheel still locks when the big part of the key is removed. The spare key will lock the car and and open the trunk. If you have any questions call 812-923-8455.
