Vehicle Detail
I have a 1948 Dodge 1-1/2 Ton Truck in Near Complete Condition. This truck has sat on a ranch in Colorado unused for the last 20+ years, the climate has preserved it nicely. There is no title, but we will provide a Colorado bill of sale. The truck has a dual rear axle, and the outside tires are in the box of the truck, we took them off to fit our trailer for transport. Also I cleaned out the cab and took the seat bottom and back springs out, they are included also, they need recovered as shown, I set a boat seat in it for temporary movement. Doors open and close nicely. The wooden box is 13' long by 8' wide, and the rear center wooden door is included also, all the old timers out here call it a beet truck because of the bed. Looks very nice under the hood, and the motor spins. Six cylinder, and the front fan pulley and blade were off, but both were wired right to the front of the motor. This is definitely a restoration project, but what a wonderful one. You will not need to round up much, but with hours of time and tlc you will have a beautiful truck. Please ask any questions, right now the truck is in my driveway so I have easy access. I filled the back with spare motorcycle tires and a few parts, but they are not included. Only the rear wheels and seats will come with it loose, does fit nicely on trailers with the rear dual wheels off so I will leave them for you to decide. I did notice only one dash knob missing and both door window glass missing. Truck has 34,170 miles on it and might be original because of the nature of a farm beet truck, they stayed close to home. I wanted to do this project myself because I love the truck, but have too many other projects at the moment and not enough room. This truck would be a wonderful icon for any farm or country operation, put your logo or business on it. Any questions, please email me. Local pick-up and we are in Longmont, Colorado.
