Up for auction is this 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4 door hardtop Sport Sedan. Factory 283 V8, 4 barrel carb, power steering, power brakes, Turboglide automatic transmission, spinner hubcaps, and push button radio. Overall this is a nice classic survivor that runs and drives well. Numbers matching 283 runs strong and the Turboglide transmission shifts smooth. The car was repainted a number of years ago and is respectable. The paint shines well and looks good but is beginning to show it's age. Interior is all original and in very good condition. Headliner, seats, dash, door panels, etc. are all in respectable condition. Body is dry with the exception of a small amount of rust in the drivers side front rear quarter as shown in the photos. All other areas are very dry: hood, fenders, trunk, floor pans, etc. are all solid. All metal appears to be original and there are no signs of any accidents or metal replacement. The car is in daily driver condition and most everything works as it should: brakes, lights, turn signals, door locks, windows, wipers, gauges, etc. are all in working order. The only things that do not currently work are the gas gauge, horn, and radio. All glass is in good condition with the exception of the passenger front door glass having a crack in it. Odometer shows just under 39k miles. I assume this has turned over once, but I am unsure. Overall this is a very solid driver and gets plenty of attention and compliments wherever it goes and is sure to bring it's new owners years of enjoyment. Included with the sale is the original owners manual and a clear Idaho title. License plates and frames pictured are not included with the sale.
