North Shore Autosport Vehicle Overview 1995 Jaguar XJS Convertible: 35,940 miles - 2nd to last year of the breed in the finest combination of British Racing Green with tan leather interior, the quintessential Jaguar color scheme. 4.0 liter inline 6-cylinder & 4-speed automatic transmission. Exterior Condition: The paint is original and in excellent condition. The exterior rubber and chrome are all in great original condition. All the glass is in excellent condition as well. The Chrome detailing is shiny and has no wear. This XJS is one very nice, low mileage example. It spent its life in Georgia, a much more temperate climate than here in Chicago. No rust whatsoever! Interior: The leather is in excellent shape and wonderfully preserved, free of ant rips, tears, fading, etc. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks and all the wood trim is nice and crack free.The carpet is in perfect condition and without any stains rips or fading. The door panels are perfect and so is all hardware. Overall the interior is in outstanding original condition and extremely clean and comfortable. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically this car is outstanding and it drives beautifully. This has the venerable inline 6-cylinder that is the known to be the best engine Jaguar ever made. I have seen these engines go an easy 200k miles. Suspension is smooth and comfortable, free of any clunks or rattles. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts strong and smooth in all gears. The engine in this car performs beautifully with nice power and torque and no hesitation, what you would expect from an engine with only 35k miles. There are no leaks in the exhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The brakes are strong. The A/C has been converted to R134A refrigerant.
