Vehicle Detail
I am reserving the right to end the auction early as this car is for sale locally in Dallas. Want a head-turing, ground rumbling muscle car?? Here is your chance. I am selling my 1969 Chevy Camaro. I bought this car about 2 years ago from the previous owner who owned it for about 10 years and had done lots of work. The interior is mostly original (except for the radio which needs to be replaced anyway) and is a georgus eye-catching Viper Blue with Black racing stripes and a black vinyl top. It has been garaged by me and the last owner. My job has left me with almost no time to enjoy this amazing car, so it is off to Ebay land where hopefully it will find a good home. Mileage is listed as 99,999 since engine has been replaced. Here is a list of the things I have done to it Fresh 454 Big Block (less then 1000 miles on it) Fresh 700 R transmision 3-speed with overdrive Fresh Holly 700 CFM carb Headers adjusted to make room for factory power steering Power Steering added Added original Horse-shoe shifter and factory center console - photographed with old hurst shifter. New Tires and Wheels (1000 miles or less on them too) Window regulators in all 4 windows have been rebuilt Needs: dash lights need replacing, small ware/hole spot in carpet on drivers side, radio starts to clip at loud levels, needs antenna, Driver Window regulator needs tightening and adjustment. This is a BIG BAD Muscle car that makes a statement and draws a crowd everywhere it goes. I did remove the old Canon-style pipes from the car and went with a simple down-turn tuck under. It looks better and souns better now . On Jan-27-13 at 09:38:30 PST, seller added the following information: Reserve is set low. I almost forgot.... I have also completed a Complete rebuild of front-end including Disc Brake ConversionOn Feb-01-13 at 21:49:10 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry for the sudden change in bids... last bidder was a mistake, so it was cancled. Car is still availible....On Feb-02-13 at 09:29:36 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked for a photo of the new console... I have added it to the pictures. This is one out of a 69 Camaro that was totaled (not mine). I bought it on Craigslist and had my shop instal it. It has a custom index plate and gear indicator panel that correctly shows the D-3-2-1 on this car instead of the original 3-2-1. I appologise for the quality as they are off my iphone. Thank you everyone for the bids. I think you will love the real 454 Big Block in this Camaro. I certainly do, it just does not get enough use from me, so I have to let it go...
