Ok please read the WHOLE AD--FIRST THE GOOD - Im selling my cool old 1978 wagoneer with a 360 v-8,automatic,4x4 and a cool california sunroof custom job. It has 35 bfg tires on 7 inches of lift. This year it got new radiator,waterpump,plugs,battery,starter soleniod,rebuilt carb and new sterring stabilizer. I do what it takes to make it run and starts everytime. It has 219k on the body and the previous owner said it had 140k on motor and trans. I drive it all the time,starts on the coldest days! 4x4 works motor runs fine and has great oil pressure. All lights and guages work,has floor heat but not defrost. It drips oil here and there but not sure from where. Not a show peice but a cool ride that gets an ass load of attention !!!!!!!! 2 windows are missing and have plexiglass in them,I have real glass for them but never put it back since I always had the top off and windows down in the summer. has some rust here and there mainly in floor areas,frame is solid!! -HISTORIC AND NEEDS ON INSPECTION.. THE BAD- I sold the locally 2 weeks ago for 1,700.00 and the new owner drove it home.... Well when he got near his home he called me and said the truck broke. Im not sure what the hell he did but when I got there to look at it the transfer case was broke,I think the chain is bad. I took it to a shop(where it still sits) and they said it needed t-case work and a front ring and pinion gear. Im into this waggy for about 2,500.00 as it sits.This jeep was DAILY DRIVER before this happened. So this truck needs t-case work or swap to be driven and front gears for the 4x4 to be 100% again.if you can do the work it will not cost much. There was a t-case for it on ebay last week for 250.00 uncluding shipping. This truck will need to be towed. I can not be driven as it sits. IT IS SOLDAS IS,NO RETURNS or COMPLAINTS. This truck gets a lot of attention when cruising down the road!!!!
