1958 Chevy Task Force Stepside Long Bed. I had this listed before but decided to pull the auction and do more to complete the truck. I really like the way it has come out. Recent additions include New Paint, American Racing Ansen Wheels and BF Goodrich Radial T/As. Also a chrome grille, billet instrument panel with new Autometer gauges (Speedo, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Alternator, Gas, LED turn signal indicator and high beam. When I bought the truck it had received a camaro front clip which is why the DMV required a salvage title. When the original vin is removed (in this case along with the original clip you have to be declared salvage and they install a new ID plate and number) with a new 290 hp 350ci Crate engine with about 4000 miles on it. It has an Edlebrock 4brl Carb (just rebuilt) and High Rise Manifold. K&N Air filter, Billet Coolant Overflow, New Wiring, New Keyed Alike Ignition switch (new switch) door and glove box locks and ext Door Handles and locks, Turbo 350 Tranny, Power Steering w/Tilt Column, Power Disc Brakes, Shocks, all new front end components. I cannot impress on you enough what the driving experience is like. This truck drives like a car, a big comfortable cruiser. There is NO RUST save some surface rust on the chassis !! This is an amazingly solid and tight Truck. Good Rubber. Leather six way adjustable power seats from a Tahoe. Gas Tank has been removed and a steel tank and sending unit has been installed under the new bedwood with a polished stainless steel filler mounted in the bed. The original fuel filler was removed and a patch was professionally fabricated so you would never know it was ever there. New Yellow Pine (original) Bedwood with Polished Stainless Steel Bed Strips. Wood has four coats of heavy duty urethane to look beautiful for a long long time. All new front and rear window gaskets as the windows were removed of course for the paint job. New 18% grey side and vent windows. New vent rubber, window channel window sweeps and weatherstrip. New door handles. Window regulators rebuilt. New Tailgate w/ chains and bed front. Dual flow masters are new also and are the more expensive three chamber delta flow mufflers and they are amazing. I'm sure I am forgetting a lot of things but I think you get the picture, This is a fantastic truck for show or a daily driver. Happy to show the truck.
