Vehicle Detail
Relisted, If You Can Not Pay For It Do Not Bid On It!!! Here we have a true survivor, a matching numbers 1986 Cutlass Supreme with only 25,500 original miles on it. This would make a great daily driver or an easy restoration. Here is a compilation of answers to questions from the last auction. Yes I have documentation to verify the mileage. No mechanical issues that will need to be addressed that I am aware of. I have never run the AC but there is a receipt from where it was repaired about four years ago. All accessories including power steering, alternator are in working order and free of noise. No fluid leaks that I have seen, the kid at the Jiffy Lube was impressed how clean it was underneath the car. He said there wasn’t any leaks what so ever. He also mentioned that it still has the factory catalytic converter. No electrical issues; yes all the electrical components work. The engine does idle a bit high when started but drops back down once it warms up. There are no check engine lights that are on. No body damage repair. No visible rust or corrosion. The car runs and drives great, like a new car did in 1986. Good tires and brakes mechanically sound. The 307 V8 runs strong like it should. I recently had the oil changed and a new battery installed, I have driven it very little over the past couple of years but made sure it was well taken care of. The automatic transmission shifts good. The paint is a bit dull; the top is at the point it may need to be replaced it is discolored and has some hairline cracking. The interior is in great shape with the exception of a small crack on the dash and the carpet on the hump up front. There had been an aftermarket console there and it wore a spot where it sat, I have recently replaced the console to cover it up. Overall this is a really nice old car that could be driven anywhere. The starting price is well below its appraised value but must be sold. This car is sold as is and where is, buyer is responsible for pickup or delivery. A $500.00 deposit through paypal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Please ask any question you might have and good luck with the bidding.
