First I am letting her go because of Down Sizing of vehicles, Momma ain't happy with the amount of projects I got going somethings gotta go, this and the HD 1994 FXR drew the short straws. Now on to the Vehicle. I have owned it for approx. 4 years and I bought it off a kid so I didnt know how much maintainence he had done to it so just like every other vehicle I put my family in I started replaceing parts, fluids, hoses, belts and filters. I pulled a compression check and it was 4 points off stock so no engine problems on the powerful 2F motor. The Odometer reads 200K plus but the ENgine, transmission, transfer case, rear end, baering and well the entire drive train is about 16 thousand miles so if the odometer is what you going off of pass me on by Amigo! If realiability and dependabilty is where you head is at then proceed! Now for the parts most of which come with a lifetime warranty!!!! in case there is any questions let me reiterate I replace parts because I do not know how many miles are on them and because I put my family in these vehicles and go camping, hicking and such. I do everything to try to limit any breakdowns so I replace them. There isnt any sicker feeling than being broke down with your family looking at you ugh!!! You do it your way and I do it mine. Parts Radiator, Water Pump, PS pump, distributor, Air Conditioner (my wifes request), Altenator, Brake booster, Front Disc brakes, Rear drum brakes, grease serts, Plugs and cables, Lights, exhaust, kill switch and misc. items. I repainted the natural molding of the body style the lower part and the hood is done out of Dura-coat bedliner 3" lift I believe the old man emu that is what it says on the mounts 285/75/16 tires aprox. 98% tread approx. 2000 miles on them Additional complete set of wheels and tires 33 inch, they were put on when we went camping near the river or lakes cause they were more ballooney type tires. Body is in great shape, no it is not new after all it is a 1985 and there is some character. The interior is in great shape as well, the drivers seat has tear along the side near the door where it is common in this model. I got it that way and it didnt effect anything so I put some seat covers on her and been driving it ever since. I replaced all the fluids, Differintial, transmission, rear end, transfer case, brakes, radiator, oil, grease if the haynes book said it was fluid then it got replaced along with filters and crush rings. It is a 4 speed manual and everything works, lights, window, wipers, electronics, seats, air, heat (front and rear) PS,PB,AC.I had installed a complet exhaust system for efficientcy. If you have been looking at FJ's and coming up with 10 grand pricing then this one is for you it is under priced for the value. I have the reciepts and that is all you need to redeem the lifetime warranties if needed. The roof rack can come off and stay or it can go with it. there are lights on the front Bull bumper and the rack. I do have the rear bumper but it is off right now because i was measuring it for a custom made bumper. There is more but I cant remember at the time of this posting This FJ is an AWESOME 4X4 everything works and there are extras. I do have it listed locally so if you want this ask questions early and I will try to answer them ASAP If it sells locally then I will pull this add.
