I am the second owner of this 1967 Barracuda that was originally sold in Pomona California and this car lived it's life in the inland dry area of California . I have the ORIGINAL window sticker and some of the build sheet that was under a seat . I have most of the registration cards also . The original owner bought this car on her birthday in 1967 and when she could not drive anymore the car was given to her daughter and husband who were senoir citizens also. I bought this car a few years ago and the only work I have done is a few cosmetic issues (ABOUT $4,000 worth) . This is an extremely rust free car . I replaced the vinyl top as it was dry and not a spec of rust under it . I had the front and rear glass removed and also replace the headliner as it made sense to freshen it up at the time . I had SMS fabrics make a headliner for $300 out of the EXACT correct material after buying one from Legendary ($89) that was not really right . The foam was a bit tired on the driver seat so this led to buying the foam and front bucket seat covers and taking care of that issue . The dash pad was just starting to split so I remove it and took it to JUST DASHES ($600) A New windshield on reassembly and the CORRECT lockstrip that cost $150 for the front and $150 for the rear . The car was painted many years ago and looks good but the are a few scratches and chips .No signs of a major collision and the car is not full of bondo . The car was order with bucket seats , 273 cu.in.V-8, Black Vinyl Roof , Sport group , Decor group , Tinted glass ,Vacumn gauge , Power steering and power drum brakes BUT THE OWNER DID NOT LIKE THE POWER BRAKES and had the dealer remove . I HAVE the set of original Full Wheel Covers also . Car is currently registered and insured . The motor does not smoke or have any loud knocks and the oil pressure is good on the gauge . It does have a slight lifter tick that sometimes goes away afer driving and a oil leak a the pan area . The transmision shifts good cold and hot . I have a receipt from the previous owner where in 2006 he had the 7 3/4" differential replaced with the same bolt pattern 8 3/4" diff .He also replaced axle bearings and rebuilt driveshaft . This work was all done at a shop that specialized doing differential gears . Also the UNDERNEATH of this car is EXTREMELY clean and the is NO undercoating that would hide anything . I was trying to state the car has 130,000 miles as the speedo rolled over . Not 13,000 miles as noted originally .On Jan-21-13 at 08:35:19 PST, seller added the following information: OK, I added a few pictures of the underneath ,what you see is a very light paper thin type of undercoat that appears factory or ? and it will come off by blowing at it with compressed air then exposing the shiney original paint and you can see the shiney original gas tank also.
