I have available for sale a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS AND REVIEW THE PHOTOS. This vehicle is fully loaded with all available options including the original equipment front and rear locking differentials. This vehicle has 138366 original miles. This Land Cruiser runs and drives but has a substantial knock in the engine and is burning oil. It was recently checked out at the Toyota dealership here and they suspect a bad connecting rod or one of the the rod bearings. either way this vehicle would benefit from a new or used replacement engine or if someone out there has the parts and ambition it could be rebuilt. BODY The good news is that the body is rust free with the exception of a half dollar sized bit above the passenger side windshield where is beginning to show bubbling. The body overall is very nice with a couple of small door dings. Several small paint chips typical of a vehicle of this age that is daily driven. Front bumper shows scuffing on each outside corner but is otherwise straight. Rear bumper is in fine condition. Factory wheels are in very nice overall condition with almost no corrosion and what little there is on the inside lips...negligible....center caps are faded badly but are there and secure CHASSIS The chassis is in remarkable condition with no notable concerns MECHANICAL As stated the motor is bad but it does run so it is obviously not seized. Brakes are okay tires at or above 50% Spare tire and wheel are present Locking differentials front and rear are present and working AWD system is working ELECTRICAL Electrical components are all working fine INTERIOR The interior of this vehicle is in good condition overall The front driver seat is very badly worn and the metal frame is coming through the foam. The front passenger seat has a seam in the seat cushion that is separating. The second row is good with some wear on the leather surface on the passenger side The third row seats are near new Floor mats are rough. Carpet is okay, worn on driver side front floor pan Vinyl and plastics are good The woodgrain kit is faded and cracked but there. This is a great vehicle for a project or to harvest parts off of or drop in a motor and go.
