This is a nicely restored 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet V8 Convertible. I purchased the car exactly as it sits so I will describe what I know and see as well as what was told to me by previous seller. Miles are original and verified by the title. Recent good quality restoration includes new paint and top, suspension work, and major service. Has a 273 V8 engine, 4 barrel with 727 3 speed push button automatic. Looks runs and drives excellent. Cool vintage hot rod would be awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection. The body is straight with no signs of collision damage or rust that I can see. The paint is new. PO says he spent alot on the paint. It looks really good but could stand color sanding and buffing. The top is brand new and looks great. Fits properly and tight. The top motor works but I cant get the top to go up and down using it... I havent looked at it at all... may need fluid or adjustment. PO said it worked properly? If I get a chance I'll look into it. Period correct 15 inch Rallye rims, with new tires look and feel awesome. The interior is very nice. Seats, Carpet, and panels, and dash are in great shape. Has modern stereo which sounds ok with stock speaker. Gauges, electronics, heat, and lights all work properly... gas gauge is finicky... 273 V8 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... has great power and sounds really cool with custom dual exhaust... this car is fast. Automatic has a shift kit I believe and it shifts clean and strong. Gear ratios are great around town and cruises nice on the freeway as well. Plenty of power all around. The suspension has been redone and the car drives exceptionally well. Rides amazingly tight and rattle free... nice straight and quiet . Brakes have what appear to be an after market power booster? it and stops well. Really nice, fun driver. Overall this is a really cool American Classic convertible Muscle Car. Awesome weekend cruiser, show car or daily driver. I am a collector...This cool car is awesme for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a vintage classic at a great price.
