1978 European Porsche 928. This is a unique car as it is probably the only 1978 928 in the world with a sunroof. I had another roof welded on that had a sunroof in it. It was a great job. I also had spoilers, mirros, and molding put on to make it look like an S4. All this work was done about 20 years ago. I bought the car in 1983 when it had 46000 miles on it. Since then the odometer has been changed at least once, so my best guess is that it has 150K-200K miles on it. I used this as my main driver for many years. The paint is about 15 years old and when it's buffed and polished it looks pretty good, but there are some spots where it is coming off and it will need some attention before too long. The interior is about 15 years old and the leather is OK but it needs some work. The dash has cracks like most of them do. It runs OK, but seems like it could definitely use a tuneup. The transmission shifts good. The panel lights don't work. The headlights work but it has a separate switch for them that is not coreect. The power antenna doesn't work. The windows work. The air doesn't work.The tires are like new. So, it would be good for a parts car or restoration. I have spent about $2700 on the car in the last couple of years and have only driven it a couple hundred miles. I just don't have the time to mess with it now as I have plenty of other projects.
