PRISTINE LOW MILE ORIGINAL 450SL CONVERTIBLE WITH FULL DOCUMENTATION ONE CALIFORNIA FAMILY OWNED CAR FROM NEW This is an extremely nice original 1980 Mercedes 450SL convertible.It was bought brand new in Southern California and is a one family owned car bought new in October of 1980.I have every original document that came with the car.I still have the original bill of sale,original window sticker,original pre-delivery inspection,original metal name plate stamp,and all books and records.The car in 1980 was at a cost of $36,565.It has a clean autocheck report with no surprises.It is great to have these items,so you can track the history of the car with no unknowns. The condition of this Mercedes is not typical at all.The car was kept in immaculate shape and never been uncared for or left outside.The car only has 85k original miles,which is very low for a 33 year old vehicle.I will state that the car was so well cared for that it has an appearance of something closer to 40K or less.Everything was super maintained.Even the engine bay area was serviced and detailed always.No oil or dirt in any inner compartments. Beautiful original Ivory/Beige paint.Yes,it is original and gorgeous.No sun damage on any paint areas or outside trim and bumpers.Blemish free.No accidents,not even a slight bump.No rust ever.Original Mercedes wheels.Tires are all in great shape and can easily make a long trip.Hard top also still has the original Ivory paint.The headliner has no wear.Excellent paint and trim. Drives Perfectly.This is the last year for the 4.5 liter engine and was definitely built for long term use.The car did have the timing row replaced with the dual row.Engine runs smoothly.Shifts like new.Everything operates great. One of the finest part of the car is the interior.It does not have a rip,stain,or color discoloration.The seat belts operate correctly.Nice original dash pad.Nice original steering wheel.Beautiful Mercedes convertible top.It even has wrinkle free door panels.Nice floor mats that have protected tthe original carpets from new.Original first aid kit is still in the rear compartmnet.Smells like new and was never smoked in.The interior color is call Palomino,which is a tan color version.
