The Good News: This car looks, runs and drives great. I've been getting between 48 and 51 miles per gallon. The interior is in great shape. We have the key remote fab and all the books. The A/C is cold and the heat is hot (adjustable) with climate control. It has Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirror, & Tilt. The Bad News: The bad news is really not that bad unless you really want to continue to get 50 mpg. The IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) light has just come on the dash. I took to the dealer and he says that it comes on when the IMA battery is at about 17% of its life. It will cost about $3,000.00 to install a new one at the dealer. They may be available cheaper elsewhere...I don't know. I did ask the Hybrid mechanic at the dealer what will happen when the battery is completely kaput; He said "you've now got a gas only car, like a regular Civic". I asked is it going to lie down and die on the side of the road and leave me stranded. He said “No way, It will just run on the gasoline engine" it's probably only going to get about 35 mpg on just the gas engine. SEE That's Not So Bad! This is a great starter car especially if you want your son/daughter to learn to drive a stick shift like we insisted. They are going to get good gas mileage anyway and it is a Honda. They will run 300,000 to 500,000 miles with the standard transmission going the higher amount. There is no warranty but look at my feedback BID with Confidence and good luck.
