This is a 2000 Volkswagon New Beetle GLS. It has the 1.9 liter turbo diesel engine (TDI) with automatic transmission. This car runs great. I put a new battery in it and it started fine this last week in Ohio when it was 15 degrees. Starts easily and drives fine. Transmission shifts as it should. The exhaust is fine. The tires have about 1/2 tread. Brakes are fine. Electrical gadgets work as they should except the keyless remote needs a battery. This car has high miles and is not in showroom condition and the reserve is set low accordingly. The faults on the car are as follow. The radio works, but the face is cracked. The drivers seat left side bolster is worn. The headliner is in tack, but sagging in the back. There is slight rust on the front of both rear wheel openings where low by the rocker panel.
