YES, IT DOES HAVE A TITLE. an old barn fell in several years ago less than a mile from my house. the man that hauled all the barn away to ask if id be interested in the 3 old firebirds that came out of it. i went to see not expecting much & at first wasnt very interested because of the condition. but since all 3 were supposed to be 4 speed cars i looked a little deeper. being an old trans am nut out of habit i looked at the vin on the 79's and boy did i get a surprise. not only were the 2, 1979's 4 speed cars they both were 10th anniversary trans ams. i thought that was it until i got them to the shop & have started listing them. it turns out that the two 79's were on the assembly line together. this one is 2X87Z172057 & the other is 2X87Z9L177059. the car is complete with motor & 4 speed transmission but i would assume by the window sticker the last time it was on the road was 2004. i will not attempt to start it. it is selling as it came to me which is exactly how its pictured. the 1967 firebird 400 that i got with this car has the 10th anniversary wheels on it that il be pulling off that i will sell with this or the other one so if the wheels are important to you please contact me. the car is located at 1602 s. market in hearne texas & is available for inspection. I have had an ebayer suggest that the dash in this car appears to be an 80-81 dash. What I do know for sure is the title matches the 1979 vin & it has the 400 motor that also matches the vin. If you have gotten this far you should already have viewed all my pictures you know what your buying. My seller understanding is still exactly as stated which is, when you get here you are welcome to inspect the car to your complete satisfaction before you owe a dime & if your not happy with the car just leave it where it sits.
