2005 Nissan Altima S 2.5 - 4 Cylinder - Automatic - 155,462 Miles Excellent body and interior - no evidence of any paint work or previous body repair. Rear bumper has some parking lot scratches and a slight (tiny) dimple on the passenger rear quarter panel. Tires are excellent and the brakes feel fine. This car is going to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition! No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask! This car is NOT RUNNING! Definitely NOT a flood car!! Guaranteed! The vehicle almost wants to start, then it just cranks and cranks. The computer and the crank sensors were replaced - did not work! My mechanic thinks the timing chain may be skipping around. Anyway, I flat towed it to my garage and it will have to be towed (or shipped) away. Mostly highway driven, the owner is heartbroken, but he was having problems with an intermittent starting issue and bought a new car. Assume the worst and hope for the best. Since it is a non-runner, it will not pass NY State inspection, therefore ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
