RARE 1957 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE Hello Cadillac collectors & collectors of cars with BIG FINS! Here we have a rare original 1957 Cadillac model 62 Convertible. It is a loaded car with just about every option. All Cadillac's were expensive cars in their day. MUST SELL NOW! THESE 1950'S CONVERTIBLES ARE BRINGING OVER $100,000 restored and as much as $150,000 to $200,000 for the best examples! People are finding Classic cars to be good long term investments. Whenever I have sold a car from my collection , I have never had to relist, it ALWAYS SELLS! Because I am fair and realistic! All of my cars are going to be sold now. Because it has an ORIGINAL interior, original color nice paint, 55 years old and in nice shape, solid driver condition overall, with numerous flaws but still beautiful overall (in my opinion) AND I am letting it go at a great price! The car was running well when we bought it but we sent to our family mechanic for a full going over, we spent well over $10,000 doing whatever he found to be needing (over a period of 3 years) including new exhuast system, brakes, carb rebuild, starter rebuild, generator, radiator, front end, shocks, power antenna, and so many other parts. THIS CAR WAS SOAKED in the recent Hurricane and was then sent back to our family mechanic to go over and rebuild just about anything that needed redoing! He had rebuilt many components and has fixed most issues and changed all fluids and removed & flushed gas tank, the car runs well with the rebuilt carburator , new top motor, window motors,and many other rebuilt parts and switches. Cars runs and drives, windows are working, lights and directional's are all working, most everything is working fine as it was! The new carpet (is in the box) and will be installed IF time allows, the car has really solid floors which are completely undercoated top & bottom! The transmisson has always dripped a bit and still needs front and rear seals, I never minded and just put a piece of cardboard down to catch any drips. The car has been very reliable overall and was great on highway drives. The mechanic is in his mid-70's and we are not going to torture him with things that are not necessary now and will cause him aches and pains! So, You will need to change some things like gas guage, seat motor, ETC! The mechanic has done what was most important, but as always with classic cars, you'll need to do more! Since I have decided to sell my collection, I told him to do most everything that he was willing to do,but I'm not worried about every single thing. It starts on the first try and runs very well, it has the original engine GM's largest V8 ! It was appointed with the best of everything, The seats & door panels are nice and original, Nice wide whitewall tires. Nice recent (about 6 mos. ago) original factory color paint with a nice mirror shine overall. We chose this car because it is a RARE Convertible model and you can NOT find many of them that are this solid, original and complete!. As a Cadillac, it is loaded with just about all of the options! It will make someone a very fine driver. Includes owners manual , accessories manual and shop manual as well as some other paper items. and extra parts. I am parting with my collection and have priced it to be a fine buy, I have 100% positive feedback and 100% sales, I have never had to relist a car from my collection over the 14 years on ebay because I have chosen fine cars and bought them carefully, thus a good buy for the next collector or dealer as well! Not to mention all of the improvements that I have had done over the past 4 years on this beauty! I have spent tens of thousands over the past 4 years to make a beautiful driver which I certainly think it is! Most people think it is beautiful. I am selling the convertible at the price of a clean coupe! I watch ebay often....Other sellers these days would list it at $39,000 or $45,000 and then keep listing it until it sells.
