We bought this car brand new in May of 2007 at Lancaster Mazda. It has been a great car for us, but our kids and their friends are outgrowing the third-row seats. The 5 speed is fun to drive. Fuel mileage is great - the most recent mileage was 27.6+ mpg (359 miles on 12.99 gallons). This is better than what was stated on the window sticker when new (22 city / 27 highway). The car has been garage-kept since new. Oil has been changed every 5,000 miles. Synthetic blend oil (5W-20) has been used every time. All maintenance records have been kept. We even kept the window sticker (see pictures). Please note the above range AutoCheck score of 89 vs a typical score of 79 to 85 for this type of vehicle. Recent maintenance performed: This sale includes a fresh oil change & installation of a new serpentine belt (currently the belt squeals sometimes when the car is driven in rain); this work is scheduled to be completed on Saturday, January 5 at a local shop. New wiper blades were just installed on front and rear New FRONT brake rotors and ceramic pads were installed at 70,669 miles (Oct 2012); also PA state inspection was performed (expires November 2013) 4 new Dunlop SP Sport Signature 205/50R-17 tires were installed and balanced with new rubber valve stems at 69,011 miles (Sept 2012). They have a 60,000 mile treadlife warranty, a V-speed rating, a 460 treadwear rating, a “AA” straight-ahead wet braking (highest rating), and an “A” temperature rating (highest rating). This is our second set of this type of tire as we really liked the first set. New REAR brake rotors and ceramic pads were installed at 65,252 miles (Jul 2012)New rear shocks (Monroe Sensa-Trac p/n 5607) were installed in Nov 2011 (approx 55,000 miles) Air conditioning system was recharged at 45,572 miles (March 2011) All power options function properly: Power windows (one-touch on driver’s side), power tilt/sliding sunroof, cruise w/controls on steering wheel, AM/FM w/6 disc changer (Sirius satellite radio compatible) w/steering wheel controls, intermittent front & rear wipers. Notable features: 4 wheel ABS disc brakes, three row side-impact air curtains (plus the standard front and side-impact air bags), tilt / telescopic steering column, halogen headlights & fog lights, variable assist power steering, two reclining 2nd row seats that also fold flat, two 3rd row seats that fold flat, driver seat height adjust and lumbar support, wheel locks, cargo net. The car drives straight, the brakes work well, and the transmission shifts smoothly. A/C is cold. There are no leaks of any type. The car has never been smoked in and has never had a pet inside it. The paint is not perfect and does have some small scratches and dents. See pictures showing the two worst areas: rear bumper cover and right front fender. All paint is original - the car has never had any body work. The interior is in great shape with no tears in any of the seats. Extras: Mazda Phantom blue touch-up paint, 4 clips for securing a Christmas tree to the roof with rope, a spare (new in packaging) driver’s side wiper blade. This car does come with two 4-button remote key-less entry transmitters w/flip keys. Both have brand new batteries and work perfectly. There are also 3 extra new batteries for the key fobs included.
