Please read description carefully - the pictures used are pictures from the last year or two of the truck - some pictures might have old parts pictures , some might be missing parts that have been replaced -     The BBS RA's will come on the truck! - I uploaded pictures taken in the last week with the BBS RA on the truck.   The tires are OK condition - front driver goes low after a few days. ABA 2.0 Liter Engine swap - complete with fuse box 268º Techtonics Cam SCI Performance Spark plug Wires Rabbit radiator with Built In Coolant tank No A/C Cone Air Intake Flipped throttle body with Passat intake manifold for proper fit and no hood rubbing Mobil1 Full Synthetic Oil Changes + Mahle Oil filters 2Y Close Ratio Rebuilt manual 5 speed transmission from a GLI + Red Line Transmission Fluid -  EXTRA-Low Diesel 5th Gear 0.71 (most are 0.75) 15 Gallon Aftermarket Fuel cell + Braided stainless steel Fuel lines 2.5" Techtonics Tuning Exhaust system + Custom 4-to-1 header ( has a small leak from header )  Bilstein Front Shocks + Weitec Sport Front Springs 2.25" drop  Adjustable height Rear Air shocks + 3” Rear Drop plates  Manual Steering Rack GTI Vented Brake Rotors + Mintex pads GTI Speedometer (120mph) matched odometer to chassis mileage - coolant gauge dont work - its in the center console.  Factory Corrado Steering wheel with Mk1 Golf Ball shift knob missing shift pattern Interior is dyed black - CRACK-FREE Dash  Triple Gauges from Cabrio: Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Volts Wipers with programmable delay from an Audi - they currently dont work - havent looking into why. Blinkers do not work either! Baby blue Caddy seats -  Alpine CD player with ipod / AUX input -  Spray-on Bedliner NEW Sunroof. Flip-up and removable glass. Chrome Bumpers (Recessed front bumper) Vent Windows - driver side broke - have a spare included. Sliding split rear glass window with lock External hood release Large Duckbill front spoiler (2 piece)   The Not so GREAT: Paint has “patina”. It’s 30 years old. There is NO RUST, but there are flaws and small dents. It shines up nicely. Heater blower fan only works in HI. Replacement fan included Fuel cell has few or no baffles. Below 1/4 tank, engine may starve around sharp right turns or freeway ramps.  Before I owned it, the Gas cap used to leak, causing paint deterioration below gas filler. No longer leaks. The reversing lights are not wired and do not illuminate when backing up.  Car has " funny " idle - at first start up of the day - it will surge between 1000k-4000k RPM's - it settles down once you get driving - then it sits at 800k and lumps a little bit -  once it warms up and driving it for awhile , it gets better - might just be the cam.  I bought new FPR - i need to install -  ( Its included ) Tailgate opens, but can be difficult at times. ( please note in the pictures is a different red tailgate that is beat up )  This tailgate pictured below - is the original one - and it IS included - its just hard to open ) The front grill - i replaced with a Rabbit GTI red stripe grill -  in some picture you will notice a custom grill badge - it is also NOT included - the original VW emblem will be put back in -  the grille also has been repaired below driver headlight - and glued - i think it looks alot better than the stock " EGGCRATE " grill that comes with the trucks The underneath of this truck is nice - no rust - here is picture of front suspension truck has awesome rear shocks - which allow you to raise up the back end with air - the valve is by the rear license plate - helps when actually using the truck as a truck - here are pics Truck has an aftermarket tinted tilt up sunroof - does NOT leak - here is pic -  there is no headliner in the truck either -   Engine swap is complete with even the fuse box from the 1996 Jetta -  With this colder weather - the idle jumps alot around until it warms up - here is big picture of the engine bay Bigger picture of the gauge cluster - with red needles - this matches the miles on the motor swap , from what i understood from previous owner - as mentioned above the coolant temp gauge in the cluster does not work - temp gauge in center console works  Picture of the center console with the wood custom rabbit shift knob - ( PLEASE NOTE - SHIFT KNOB IS NOT INCLUDED - OLD PICTURE - INCLUDED IS FACTORY GOLF BALL SHIFTER ) Also a custom VW headlight switch Dont really have a really good picture of the blue seats in the truck - so here is pic of the seats out of the truck -  driver side lower has small lower tear - they are firm -   i have a set of recaro's that need refinished - but never got around to refinishing them so the blue stock caddy seats are what is in the truck here is pic of the 8 ball door lock knobs - this shows driver seat Car is located just SOUTH of Lincoln NEBRASKA -  68516  -   SOLD AS IS WHERE IS -   402-953-2671 Leave message - NO TEXT MESSAGES -
