Vehicle Detail

Welcome to my auction! Up for your consideration is my cool classic 1970 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck. It is powered with a 327 V-8, and a 3 speed on the column, manual transmission. The motor, which was rebuilt by the previous owner, features a Edelbrock four barrel carburetor, and a Monroe electronic ignition. The clutch was also replaced, and functions as it should. The truck has power steering, a custom interior, new glass, new brakes, and has been freshly painted. The 4" lowered suspension, and rebuilt front end, make it a pleasure to drive. If you like the way it looks, you won't be disappointed by how it runs down the road. Buyer will provide a $500.00 Deposit within 48 hours of auction end, via PayPal. Balance due within 10 days. Seller accepts Cash / Cashiers check, and has a clear title in hand. Please feel free to contact me to arrange a viewing before the auction ends. If for any reason, the winning bidder isn't completely satisfied with their purchase upon inspection of the vehicle, the deposit will be returned. However, as this truck is 43 years young, it is being offered without a warranty, expressed or implied. Questions? Call Bill @ 859-983-5003. Please no calls after 9PM EST. Thanks for your interest in my little red chevy, and happy bidding! On Dec-21-12 at 10:01:13 PST, seller added the following information: Many thanks to everyone, for your continued interest in my little Chevy P/U. I've recieved several calls inquiring about previous body repairs. Prior to painting, there was no cracking, or bubbling of the paint, that would indicate previous stopgap, or shoddy repairs. The gentleman that did the paint work for me, said that he would rate the body at near excellent. He is willing to talk with perspective buyers, and offer his opinion concerning the condition of my truck. Although,I didn't know him previously, he was highly recommended to me. I visited his shop prior to giving him the project, and was very impressed. ( Please call me if you would like Larry's number.) In preparation for painting, he removed the doors, hood, and bed. He sanded the entire truck, including the door jams, before painting. Also, after listing, it came to my attention that the emergency brakes weren't functioning as they should. The truck is currently in the shop for those repairs. The entire cable system is being replaced, this cable connects the emergency brake pedal to the rear drums. My truck has always been kept inside. If you are the successful bidder, and need time to arrange P/U or shipping, I can accomodate any reasonable inside storage request, at no additional charge. However, I do require payment in full, as stated in my EBay payment terms. Please inform me of your needs before bidding. Finally, I've had several requests to disclose the auction reserve. The EBay auction format is a fun, fair, and exciting way to purchase classic cars & trucks. In this spirit, please forgive my decision not to reveal the reserve. Thanks again and Happy Holidays to all! '
