Condition: Near Mint to Excellent. Interior Near Mint. Exterior Excellent. This car is true and clean with NO RUST! Heck, the clock on the dash even works! The 1983 Monte SS is the second most rare MONTE SS (next to the ugly Aerocoupe - 1986 - only 200 made). The late 1983 pushed out just over 4,000 units whereas every future year was 20,000 plus. Runs strong and smooth. Had plans to upgrade and everything I have done to this car has had a bigger motor in mind. Just no time to do what I wanted and now I am looking to sell. Features: 305 High Output with 2004R tranny built with all the extras and shift kit for 800 HP and high stall torque converter. Double Hump Cross Member mount with true dual exhaust from front to back with High Flow Cats and Flowmaster 40 Mufflers with Stainless tips. Edelbrock Tubular Exhaust Headers that have been Jet-Hot Coated silver. Stage II computer Chip, 160 degree Thermostat, new Quadrajet Carb, Distributor and Moroso Wires. Rockford Fosgate Punch 75 Amp, Rockford Fosgate Mid-Bass speakers with custom mounted speaker panels above arm rests in rear, 12" Rockford Fosgate sub in ported box in trunk, Polk Mid's and Tweets in custom mounted kick panels on front doors. Alpine 7915 pull out single CD player head unit (head unit does not work). Crimestopper Alarm System with remote lock/unlock. The few minor things to note on this car: One "ding" on right rear side, passenger door lock area has some damage from someone trying to jack the car (lock has been replaced), small crack in nose, passenger side mirror has a small dent and the mirror is cracked and front drivers side nose has some small scuffs on blue stripes High Beam Switch and cruise control do not work. History: 2nd owner (since 1994) with all maintenance records since ownership. Purchased in North Dakota (no salt up there) and garaged every winter (not driven). Been in a heated garage since 2007.
