Very rare, very cool 1976 Lancia Scorpion race car. This is a fully built race car and an excellent candidate for SCCA and SVRA racing along with any other track events and clubs. Has been raced in Florida and Southern California. I have no log books but for SCCA it is listed as a Class F Production Car. This is a rust free Southern California body that was built into a race car about 25 years ago and has been updated and properly maintained since. The interior has been completely gutted and fitted with a roll cage constructed of 1.5 x .120 seamless tubing. Side protection bolts in and out but is not shown in the photos for ease of getting in and out. Brand new Sparco seat. Brand new Sparco harness dated 10/2011. Sparco steering wheel. Drivers side window safety net. Tachometer, volt, oil temperature, oil pressure, and water temperature guages. All AutoMeter and Veglia Borletti. New Halon Extinguisher good inspected through 11/2013. Exterior is freshly painted a 2012 Fiat Blue. Originally a t-top, the roof has been custom made and fitted out of fiberglass. Custom made aluminum front air dam with two tow points. Aluminum windshield retainer clips. Rear tow points. Quick disconnect battery setup with switch on passenger side under windshield. Maserati Bi-Turbo rims with new center caps and brand new 205/55/14 Hankook Slicks DOT competition tires which have been heat cycled. New and never raced. Also comes with 185/60/15 street tires for transportation. Stock 1.8 liter, twin overhead cam, 4 cylinder with performance air cleaner and custom made header with trumpet exhaust. High volume Holley electric fuel pump. Freshly tuned up, all fluids and filters changed, and new timing belt. Runs excellent, very strong and very fast. Very, very loud. Header has been freshly coated. Undercarriage is spotless. Freshly media blasted and painted white to match the interior and engine compartment. No rust anywhere.
