Vehicle Detail
True Barn Find. Found on a farm in a tiny NW Missouri town. One family owned truck. Always a Missouri pickup truck. Built at the Kansas City Ford Plant. Actual F1 model equipped with the 226 c.i. Inline Flathead 6Cyl. Engine. 3 Spd. Manual Transmission. Engine turns freely, but I haven't made any effort to get the old truck running. This is a good old Ford - not monkeyed with at all - a real survivor. These are getting progressively more difficult to find like this these days as so many have been altered or customized. The pickup looks great with the old original Black paint having just the right amount of age and petina to it. It does have the typical rust issues in all the usual places, but surprisingly, the running boards and cab floor is in very good condition. However, someone at some point cut a larger retangular access hole around the brake master cylinder opening in the cab floor. I don't think this is a huge deal, but I added a photo of this area so it can be seen. Otherwise, a really solid cab with minimal rust in the LH rear corner. Seat looks great too. Has an Original Heater. And, I have some NOS plastic dash cover plates that go with it as well. The truck is located in Kansas City, so that you can make arrangements for hauling if you are the winning bidder. Any other questions, simply ask. So, good luck.
