Vehicle Detail
Truck was hit when not running. Airbags did NOT diploy. I would guess then they are OK. I do not do bodywork. This is for entire truck as it sits and towed by others. It is easily accessible on my property WITH APPOINTMENT.... The engine started right up, but the fan blades hit the front radiator shroud so it was shut down. There is damage caused by LEER cap hitting rear of truck. Window is intact. Effected passenger rear door slightly. Does not seem that bad. Was towed and not driven. Looks like a pretty easy fix if you have the skill and several parts. Could make a great off road or modified truck. 4x4 shifted fine. Transmission was strong with no issues. It is a work truck not a show truck and was my personal work truck. NEVER EVER let me down. Truck was parked and hit by a driver in front. The other vehicle struck other objects before hitting truck. Truck was declared salvage by insurance. I have converted to a salvage title but do not have time to rebuild. I have purchased a new truck. This is an Ohio truck and has normal rust on doors, frame etc. Bed would need replaced with other or flat bed. Truck was a daily driver and ran amazing. I have had brand new 2500 trucks that did not run this well including 2010 model. 4.30 rear end and V10 could pull a house.. Rated I believe at 15K combined trailer hitch. 4.30 adds nearly 1000 pounds. I used it for firewood and to move my tools with cap. It was not used for heavy hauling. Cap is part of deal, scrap whatever...Drivers seat has normal wear from use. This is a functioning power seat. This is a great truck and had lots of miles to drive. Was maintained under our company fleet program and front end was tight. No plow. I will attempt to post pictures in the next few days. Accident report indicates maximum speed upon impact of guardrail then truck was 62 miles per hour. The car struck and ran a line of guardrail before stricking truck in the front. The engine did start after crash however vehicle could not be driven based on loss of radiator and other fluids. Best to setup appointment and inspect before bidding. I have original receipt for tires showing low miles. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler HD Silent Armor at nearly $1000 installed with about 9K on them. They look new with 8/32 to 10/32 tread. Rims are Ford aluminum. XLT model.
