!!!...THIS IS A LOW RESERVE AUCTION...!!! I am only the second owner of this AWESOME 1992 Nissan Maxima SE... This beauty runs and drives GREAT, and looks GREAT as well (see pics)... This car was meticulously maintained. I purchased this car at just over 149,000 miles and have thoroughly enjoyed the 1,000 or so miles I have added to it. I have driven this car almost exclusively on the highway. I have stored the car here in Austin for a while now and she anxious to "fly" again... It is because I have not been able to give this car the attention she deserves that I sadly must sell this car to another home... This is a PERFORMANCE (190hp..?) 5 speed manual transmission car with the 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engine. THIS CAR MOVES...!!! :-) This MAXIMA is loaded with: POWER WINDOWS POWER LOCKS POWER MOON-ROOF POWER MIRRORS TILT STEERING WHEEL CRUISE CONTROL ABS A/C LEATHER-WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL ALLOY WHEELS FOG LIGHTS 'BOSE' SOUND SYSTEM* and of course SATIN WHITE PEARL-GLOW PAINT... The only things I know of that could use attention are: the rear spoiler is a little loose, but is common for these years. The speakers have a faulty connection and come in/out or are in need of replacement. The right fog light is not working (bulb?) The ABS light is on though this car stops on a dime with no issues. These are all minor fixes...! The interior and exterior are in excellent condition (see pics)...but there is a small crease on the passenger side front fender (you practically have to strain to see it...). The exhaust, brakes, glass and tires are all in great condition. The tires have under 20K miles on them. As I have stored the car for a few years, I just installed a brand new battery. The rear brakes were done less than 2,000 miles ago. There is a new radiator, installed less than 100 miles ago... And the car comes with a new water pump that will need to be installed by the new owner. So trips will need to be short until that is done... When I purchased the car I was told it might have a slight oil and steering fluid leak to watch for. I never noticed this to be a problem. (I would jut keep an eye on the fluid levels and not worry about it... For any 20 year old vehicle it is really quite COMMON.) This car retailed new for $24,510 in '92...! I can't say enough about how fun to drive and how nice this car is..! Anyone that knows these cars knows that they pretty much run forever! Looks and drives like a dream...! I could not locate it before this trip. This is why I added the notice. You are right, it is a smoother transaction with the Title. But it can be done without one in hand. The car is currently on a WA State Title and I found that they have a specific document that can be used in lieu of having the Title, i.e. when lost or damaged, etc. (see the link: http://www.dol.wa.gov/forms/420040.pdf). However, it must simply be notarized in person by all parties though. I hope this helps.
