1991 Mercedes 560SEL in Black Clearcoat over Black leather. This car was purchased on 4/21/1991 at the former Continental Motors Inc., in Fairfield, CT by singer Michael Bolton. Michael has been the only owner of the car. High bidder will be provided with documentation from his purchase to current: original sales sheet in Michael's birth name (Michael Bolotin), title and current registration also in his name. Even if you are not a fan, it's safe to say the owner had the means to properly maintain the car. It is in excellent condition and is a very rare find with only 52k miles. This is the last year of the 560SEL, one of the most beautiful cars Mercedes has ever made. This example has led a privileged life and it shows. The exterior of the car is in excellent condition. The paint holds a deep shine and has no signs of fade. The paint is all original and it has not been involved in any accidents. There is no rust anywhere on the car. There are light scratches, dings etc., however, far less than you would expect from a car with 50k miles; the most prominent of which is that the front driver's side fender has a small crease and paint rub. All glass, plastic and trim pieces are in very good shape and have no damage. The chrome is in excellent condition with the exception of 2 spots on the bumper trim where the finish has faded below the license plate. The wheels are also in very good condition, but have some of the finish showing wear. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The leather is in great shape and has no holes or tears in the upholstery. The original color and finish is bright and bold as a result of having been garaged. The seats hold their original shape, spring and form. The dash has no cracks. The headliner sits perfectly with no sign of sag. The wood is in very good condition, holding a deep bright color and showing very few cracks in the finish. A mobile phone had been installed and the cradle remains on the console. This car has not been smoked in and has no strange odors. The carpets are free from any noticeable dirt or stains as they have been covered by mats since new and show no fade. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. The engine is fast and strong.The transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension and steering are tight. There are no strange noises or rattles. There are no stains on the garage floor underneath it. The front end makes no noises while going over bumps or turning. All interior functions, including power seats, windows, heated seats (front and rear), reclining rear seat, sunroof, antenna, climate etc. work as they should. A/C is cold and heat is hot. There are no check engine, ABS, air bag etc. lights on. I have 2 master keys. The car has the owners manual and other manuals present. The only malfunction that I am aware if is that 1 bulb on the dash and 1 bulb on the climate control for night illumination have burned out. The tires have plenty of tread on them. The car has been exclusively dealer maintained. These cars have a legendary reputation for their comfort, engineering and build quality. This 560SEL is a very rare find being in excellent condition, being the right color, having extremely low miles and sole celebrity ownership. It would be a great addition to a collection or a daily driver. Most examples of this model have not been properly maintained and abused. This car has been very well preserved and is in very impressive condition. I have tried to describe the car as thoroughly and accurately as possible.
