Vehicle Detail

1957 STUDEBAKERGOLDEN HAWK STREET ROD2 Door Hardtop. New drive train from JEGS includes; 327 Chevy engine, Weiand Supercharger, turbo 3 speed automatic transmission, Mr. Gasket Ratchet Shifter and many other performance updates. All new Auto Meter Gauges(removed original gauges and extra front grill come with the car). Tear Drop Hood with custom flame paint. Lake Pipes. Appliance True Wire Wheels with new tires. Custom Marquart Interior. This Street Rod is a Dynamite Classic that gets a thumbs up from everyone who sees it! If you want to have one no one else has---this is IT!! The restoration of the car was completed 12 years ago and has been driven 1,763 miles since then. The car sounds great and is in excellent running condition, but has a little front end vibration around 60 MPH. On a scale of 10, I would rate the condition at 9 with a few minor body blemishes, the windows rattle, the doors close hard, and the gas gauge does not work. I have tried to give clear description of the car.The reserve is set well below appraised value. The car is being re-listed because of a non paying bidder. PleaseDo Not bid if you do not intend to buy the car. I require a non refundable $200 deposit from the winning bidder to ensure inspection is conducted. I guarantee the car is as describe and will release the buyer from the purchase in the unlikely event you do not like the car upon pickup, or the results of a third party inspection. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with the inspection; I will cancel the auction and refund the deposit. The reason I am selling the car is I need the money to complete two other restoration projects and to pay medical bills from cancer surgery. The car is located near Columbus, Ohio. I would be glad to show the car if you are in the area. Thanks for looking,CALL: (740) 304-3296 or (740) 419-1971 if you have anyquestions.A number of people have ask if air conditioning can be installed; It looks like there is room for the compressor on the lower left side of the engine, and room for the receiver elsewhere within the engine compartment. It also looks like there is enough room for the condenser, but I don’t know if the electric fan will move enough air. The evaporator/air mover would have to be installed inside the car and space should not be an issue.People have also ask about heater and wippers;Since I do not drive the car in increment weather I did not realize it, but there is no heater installed and the wipers do not work. The wiper motor, and blades are installed, but the motor does not energize when the switch is turned on.
