Up for auction is an extremely clean original body 1983 Jeep CJ-7. This beauty features a 4.2L 258ci inline 6 with the clifford preformance upgrade backed by a great 5 speed manual trans. This isnt your average cj, this runs, drives, and handles very well. The paint looks great and the interior is free of any rips or tears. The 4x4 functions as should and the vehicle has lock out hubs. The frame is in great shape and shows no signs of ever being or needing any repairs. There is no rot at all in this frame. All lights work, including the two on the bumper and yellow neons mounted under the body. This jeep does include a hard top, hard doors, and a bikini top. The vehicle drives very well, and the 5 speed helps keep the rpm low on the highway. There are disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear. Also this jeep DOES have power steering!!! The jeep its self in in great condition and presents very well, the doors are not all rusted or rotted, but do not have inner door panels (i never used them so i never finished them). All the glass is there, and i have new handles as well. The top and doors alone sell for about $800 on craigslist in their condition and are an added value to someone who plans to use the vehicle year round.
