Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE!!! NO RESERVE!!! NO RESERVE!!! Up for auction is my station wagon. I bought the car in NY, NY when it had around 75,000 miles on it and have had really good luck with it. It has been my daily driver, but I no longer need a station wagon and am ready to get back to driving a car. I have two keys for the wagon. The car is in overall good shape with a strong running engine. There are no cracks on the dashboard, the interior wood trim is in good shape, and the leather is in good condition except as noted below. I apologize in advance that I was unable to vacuum the car lately, so things are a little dusty! :-) I am trying to get it vacuumed out before the auction ends. If you would like it inspected by a local repair group, I am happy to let someone look at the car. Since I was in the wagon a lot, I upgraded several features as follows:OEM Audi MMI RNS-E with AUX-In adapter and dual SD card playerOEM Audi NavigationOEM Audi XM Satellite RadioOEM Audi BluetoothSurfboard / Snowboard rack As with any car of this age and mileage, there are some known quirks and deficiencies. I am attempting to disclose them below: ExteriorAs seen in the picture, the paint on the front bumper is degrading and peeling in some placesThe hood has a slightly visible scuff that has been there since I bought the carAs seen in the picture, there is bubbling paint on one part of the roofAs seen in the picture, the headlight lenses have a bit of oxidation. A buffing kit from Wal-Mart should clear them up InteriorAs seen in the picture, there is a slight tear in the driver seatThe speaker cover on the rear passenger-side has a small crackThe cup holder by the emergency brake is totally functional, but will not stay closed for some reasonThe sun shade on the back hatch was severely broken when I bought the car and it has been removed MechanicalThe ABS light is on because there is a malfunctioning sensor in the front driver's wheel (I am including the replacement part with the sale)The engine temperature gauge works intermittently due to a faulty sensor (I am including the replacement part with the sale)The oil temperature gauge works intermittently due to a faulty sensorSometimes when the car is accelerating from a stop, the rpms go up, but the wheels are not receiving power. If you let off the gas for just a moment and then re-engage acceleration, it goes just fine. I have not had this problem checked by a mechanic, so I don't know what is wrong with itThe brake pedal switch needs to be replaced. It sometimes sticks on, but tapping the brake with your foot when you get out of the car will cause it to disengage. Failure to do so will cause the battery to drain completely. Also, if the brake switch is stuck on while the car is going, the cruise appears not to work, but it's really just the brake switch. Give the brake a tap and then the cruise works fineRear wiper functions properly; however, the rear washer sprayer does not spray. I was told the hose is loose in the hatch, but didn't have the time to tear into it I have attempted to list as much information about the wagon as possible. Please ask any questions that you have before you bid. I will promptly reply. The added OEM electronics are worth over $1,000 by themselves! PLEASE NOTE: This car is used and anything can happen outside my control on a car of any age. Therefore, I am selling the car AS-IS and it carries ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY ORAL, WRITTEN OR IMPLIED!!! The pictures and description are to help you better evaluate this car. Please note that this is an older and higher mileage car, and there may be more wear and tear than a newer car.On Dec-09-12 at 15:14:51 PST, seller added the following information: I've had a couple of questions from various interested parties asking whether they could drive the car from Florida to Arizona or Missouri. The answer is I HAVE NO IDEA!!! The car has over 150,000 miles and I have only driven the car locally for about two years now and while I've had no problems locally, I won't speculate how a 1,500+ mile trip will go. I am happy to facilitate meeting a shipping company to get the car to you should you setup the shipping. Thanks for your interest and good luck!
