You are bidding on a 2004 Cadillac Deville with 264,070 miles. This car belongs to an airport transportation company, so most of its adult life has been spent on the highway. I am a good friend of the owner and have personally driven this vehicle. This vehicle was purchased in October 2007 with only 34,665 miles and was primarily driven by the non-smoking owner. Extensive maintenance and repair repair records will be provided to the new owner. She has seen no major accidents and the paint and body shows proof of that! Other than some dings, nicks, and scrapes here and there, she shows as good as a car with under 100,000 miles, not 264K. Inspections of this vehicle are welcome – vehicle is located in SAUGUS, MA. This sharp black on black leather Deville has the Northstar V8, front wheel drive, many luxury features including the factory chrome wheels, auto-dimming On-Star rearview mirror…..but no sunroof. All electrical and mechanical components work as they should, except for those noted below. Front tires have about 35% tread and rear tires have about 45% tread. As with any vehicle with this many miles, there are some issues that you should be aware of: right front tire pressure monitor needs replacement, check engine light is on (needs air intake sensor – repair cost $150), needs front end work to pass inspection (needs ball joints and tie rod ends – repair cost $1000 to $1500 at shop prices/rates), needs new switch for right front passenger seat back adjustment. This vehicle runs and drives, but was retired from the fleet and taken off the road a few months ago. Overall the interior and exterior are in very good condition. Take a close look at the pictures as I tried to photograph some scratches, flaws, and missing trim pieces here and there. This vehicle does have a dark livery tint, so you may want to line up an inspection shop that will pass it so you don’t have to remove the tint on the windows. Why spend more money than you have to. Private party Kelley Blue Book puts this car at $2,982 in fair condition…..reserve is only about 1/3 of that!!
