You are bidding on a 1958 MGA 1500 Glacier blue over black interior. Exactly as documented on the official British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate and exactly how it left the factory on the 3rd of October 1957. This is a very nice much better than driver quality MGA that you would be proud to take to any local show. Options as mentioned on the Heritage Certificate are Wire Wheels, Heater, Whitewall tires, Adjustable Steering Column, Ash tray, Tonneau cover, Cellulose paint and Rear axle ratio of 4.55 to 1. Essentially every option offered for the car in 1958. Engine Number 15GB-U-H29413 and Body Number 50227. This particular MGA is in very good overall condition as can be seen by the photos. It is not a fresh restoration but shows like much of the work and maintenance has been recently done although predominantly more than 5 years ago. The exterior of the car (paint, chrome and glass) are all in fantastic condition. Paint and chrome both shine like a new penny but have as well a blemish here or there. Most significant spot is paint chipping on a rear taillight plinth (see photo). Glass has as well one small chip. The interior of the car (seats, cockpit, carpet, door panels and dash) are also in very good condition having been replaced during the restoration work a few years previously. The Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel is also a nice touch. The trunk comes carpeted as well and includes a crank for the starter, spare tire and spare tire cover. Mechanically the car runs and drives out very well. Starts easily, idles great and sounds very nice. Has electronic ignition so you can be confident in knowing that it is ready for the road. Clutch, transmission and brakes are all working exactly as they should. As can be seen in the photos, it comes as well with all of the weather equipment (top, tonneau, and side curtains). Top has perfect vinyl and clear flawless glass. Side curtains are clear and in good condition. Driver side has a small cracked section. The Tonneau cover is similar to the top in having an almost new appearance. Included are the Heritage Certificate, factory tools, a workshop manual, various parts catalogs and a new set of MGA floor mats. All 4 chrome wire wheels and knock offs are essentially new and show very nicely while riding on period correct Dunlop SP size 165R15 like new tires.
