Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a terrific original rust free, and mechanically restored 1966 Land Rover Series IIA 88" Wagon.78,000 Original Miles Originally purchased in dry eastern washington it sat in a barn for nearly 25 years, before being mechanically restored a few months ago. This Land Rover has never been restored, repainted, or altered since is left the factory, all of the original patina has been preserved. This Land Rover was ordered with many optional extra, including a kodiak MK III heater, RARE ashtray, locking front hubs, safari top, and rear jump seats, not bench. The front seats have been replaced with NEW OLD STOCK elephant hide seats, thats were imported from England, the rest of the interior has been left completely original, and includes the four original rear elephant hide jump seats, and door panels. Small mechanical maintenance has been done to make this a completely drivable Land Rover. New old stock pieces were used where even possible to maintain the extreme originality of this Land Rover. A complete new set of OEM brakes were installed front and rear, including wheel cylinders, master cylinder, pads, springs, all soft lines, and drums. In addition to the brake system being completely restored to like factory condition, a new clutch and pressure plate were installed, along with master and slave cylinders. The Engine has been professional tuned, and maintenance done where needed. This Could truly be a daily driver. I cant emphasize enough how original, and unmolested this Land Rover is, i've had many Land Rover, and this is the most factory complete one i've seen. Please feel free to email with any questions. Thanks for looking.
